Note: If you are a candidate for both competitions EPSO/AD/301/15 AND EPSO/AD/302/15 , you must book and sit both sets of tests. If you want to sit the test for both competitions on the same day, we suggest you to contact Prometric by phone (see phone numbers in the CBT manual – last page).

Most important points to remember before you go to the test centre:

• The testing will take place from 19/05/2015 to 16/06/2015.
• Arrive at least 30 minutes in advance.
• The address of the test centre is provided via a link in your booking confirmation.
• Don’t forget to take your booking confirmation printed from your EPSO account and a valid ID document with a photo (please check the CBT manual to see which documents are accepted).
• Timing of the tests and number of questions: Time allowed per test and the number of questions can be found in our previous message.
• Sample tests are available at http://europa.eu/epso/apply/sample_test/index_en.htm
• Rescheduling is possible but is subject to availability. To reschedule your test, you must first wait until the booking confirmation uploads in your EPSO account (usually within 48 hours after your initial booking). See the CBT manual for more information.
• Languages: you will take your tests in the languages you selected in your application. The instructions on the computer screen will be provided in your language 2. To check which languages you selected, click on your candidate number in your EPSO account and you will see them in your application form. No changes are possible after validation of your application.
• Number of points and pass marks: please check the competition notice.
• Results: all results are processed by Prometric and sent to EPSO only after all candidates have sat their tests. The test results for candidates having special accommodation (such as visually impaired candidates, etc.) have to be evaluated manually and all test results are calculated and approved by the Selection Board during a special meeting. Any unforeseen, unexpected events happening during testing (such as fire alarms, strikes, civil unrest etc.) may lead to the extension of the testing period as all candidates affected have to be contacted and (re)tested on an individual basis. The whole procedure can take from several days to several weeks. The results are usually published 5 weeks after the last testing takes place. The testing period of the competition EPSO/AD/301/15 ends on 16/06/2015.

Some Member States organise some sessions of Training and support to prepare candidates for competitions. If you do not see a link next to your Member State, it means that EPSO has not received any information on this subject from the Member State concerned.

Booking of your computer-based tests (CBT) – most important points to remember

Before you book your admission tests, do not forget that:

• Booking is only possible between the dates published in your EPSO account. In general, booking starts at 0h00 on the first day and ends at 12 o’clock (midday) Brussels time on the final day. If you do not book during this period, you will no longer be able to book. All candidates are offered the same number of days in which to book a test, regardless of when they apply. Please check the booking invitation letter in your account for more details.

• You will be able to see the final list of available test centres when booking via the link provided. The list will also be available at https://www.prometric.com/en-us/clients/EPSO/Pages/landing.aspx Please note that two additional CBT centres are available : Dubai and Istanbul

• In case of technical problems during the booking procedure, please exclusively contact Prometric via one of the numbers provided in the CBT manual and in our FAQs: http://europa.eu/epso/doc/faq_as_pdf_en.pdf

• Make sure you complete the whole booking procedure. At the end, you should see a confirmation number (e.g. 8800000001507876). If you do not see this number, it means that your booking has not been completed. You can print this booking confirmation at any moment.

• Straight after the booking, you should receive an e-mail confirming your booking. If you do not receive this e-mail confirmation, please check your spam filter and your junk e-mails. This is not the official confirmation you need to bring to the test centre. The official booking confirmation will be uploaded later (usually within 48 hours after the booking) into your EPSO account.

• Rescheduling is possible but is subject to availability. To reschedule your test, you must first wait until the booking confirmation uploads in your EPSO account (usually within 48 hours after your initial booking). See the CBT manual for more information.

• If you cannot participate in the tests, you should cancel your appointment via the booking management system (see the CBT manual for more information ).
